Evening At Home

Jacob is having such a good time pre-tending like he is a real cowboy. He wants to go to a rodeo.
He thought it was funny for his mom to wear his hat. While he was at Grandma Bette's house today she showed Jake pictures of me as a little girl. When I was in the first grade my family moved to Wyoming for awhile and I was a cowgirl while I went to school there. Upon returning to Montana the kids at school made fun of me and I never wore my cowgirl boots and hat again. Some kids are so cruel.

Marli wasn't feeling well today. She was running a fever and slept most of the day. Poor kid. Yesterday was a crazy day for me. I went visiting teaching for a couple hours first thing in the morning. Then Ryan and I went to the Red Cross and donated blood. After that we had lunch and then Ryan dropped me off at the salon, I got my hair done.
Ryan took the kids to Sportsman's Warehouse and then to the video store and let them pick out some "WOO vies". That's how Miss Marli pronounces movie. They got Flushed Away and Open Season. We just finished them. Both very good movies. Tomorrow I will be helping out in the nursery at church I will also be in there the following week. One of the Ladies I visit teach is a nursery leader and she's going on vacation. She asked me to fill in for her. I'm glad to help out wherever there's a need. I'm just thankful it's for 2 weeks and not longer. I love Relief Society so much I hate missing one week.

A Cool & Cute Cowboy!

Jacob has wanted "real" cowboy boots and a belt with a fancy buckle for a very long time. Today Grandma Bette took Jacob to Cal Ranch.

Ryan went to with some friends to shoot guns today. I had my stamp club today. Grandma Bette came to our house and picked up the kids. They had quite the day. When Grandma took the kids to Cal Ranch Jake thought the store was weird at first....until Grandma showed him all the Cowboy stuff. Then he was ecstatic.
He picked out orange boots of course (his very favorite color). A real hat, belt with a very cool buckle.

My Funny Valentines!!!

After work we had a little Valentine party at our house. We had BLT'S for dinner. Simple and delicious. We got the kids lunchables and treats for a surprise. It may seem weird but it's what they love.

Ryan shocked me by taking Jake to the mall and buying me a beautiful ring. The only jewelry he has ever bought me was my wedding ring. Jake came home from shopping with his dad and told me he had a surprise for me. I asked him what it was....he smiled real big and told me "Dad bought you some really ugly earrings". I was like yeah right. So When Ryan finally gave me my present and it came from a jeweler I thought Oh no...what if Jake wasn't teasing and there's ugly earrings in this nice jewelry box. I opened the box and could not believe what my husband picked out. I know it's hard to tell....it has 3 diamonds on one side representing my 3 children and 2 diamonds on the other side representing Ry and me...2 pink Sapphire hearts. I normally don't like heart jewelry. However this is so perfect. After all these years and Ryan does something so unpredictable. WOW!!!
This has been such a wonderful week. Filled with so many surprises and sweet times with our loved ones.

My Sweet Valentine!

Ever since Jaxon was born he has always been my sweet Valentine. One year Ryan helped him draw a valentine on regular notebbok paper. I have it framed on the wall next to my bed. Jaxon would always ask me to be his valentine. I have wanted to make a "Top 10 What I love About Jaxon" project for a really long time. I've had the list complete, but couldn't bring myself to get it done. I decided with Valentines Day here I would make it a special Valentine dedication to my sweetheart.
I hope you are able to see it! I worked on this all day saturday. I was mentally exhausted when I finished it. I am so happy that I have this. I will treasure it forever.

Here's the sweet boy with Grandma Phyllis when she had heart surgery. He made her these paper hearts. He was so proud of himself. He loves her so much!

Jaxon My Special Valentine!!!!

I Love you Son!!!! Happy Valentines Day!

Grandma Lyn's house

I took the Kids out to Grandma Lyn's house today. I didn't have my camera with me darn it! I found these pictures to have a picture to go with the experience. OK so after Jacob's valentine pre-school party we went out to Ryan's mom's house. Unfortunately Grandpa Reuel was at work.

We ate lunch with Grandma Lyn and had so much fun. Grandma had some valentines for the kids. We had some gifts for her too. The kids picked out some pretty flowers, treats and a funny lion that signs "WILD THING" when you press his paw. So CUTE!
Grandma had the funnest game we played it with her. I'm not sure what the exact name of it was. Something like Pirate bones. It was a riot. We love going to her house as much as we love her and Grandpa Reuel.

Valentine present for Papa and Bette

We had a little Valentine present for Papa Bill and Grandma Bette! Normally we don't do anything for the little holidays. However this year we thought we needed to do a little something for our loved ones.

Papa bill received a bag of Cheetos's and a salami. Jacob was excited because he knew papa would share with him.
Grandma received a pretty necklace and earring set. Marli thought it was so cool that her and Grandma both got a new necklace.
Hugs for Papa! The kids gave Grandma a hug too we just didn't get it on film.

Happy Valentines Day Grandpa & Grandma

Grandpa Bill and Grandma Bette came over today! They brought the kids some fun valentine gifts. Jakey got a cool superman hooded bath towel and a teenage mutant ninja turtle. Marli got a necklace, earring, ring set, and a purple unicorn.

The kids love it when their grandparents come over to visit. It's always fun.

Changes In My Life

I have had some really significant changes happening in my life lately. I feel a new dawn breaking. I set some goals after the first of the year and it's amazing how quickly they have become more than just goals. I have a list of 10 things I want to accomplish this year and already six have happened. So with all this change going on for the better I thought I would re-vamp my blog as well. Let me know what you think.

On Our Way To Date Night

We were getting ready to leave the house to go on our family date night when Ryan got these photo's of me with the kids. I am so happy he'll grab the camera now and capture the kids with me. It seems like I never get in the picture because I'm the one behind the camera.

These turned out cute. We took the kids to Edward cinema to see "The Night At The Museum" it has Ben Stiller in it. The first few minutes I thought maybe I made a mistake taking them to it. The kids were Terrified when the exhibits at the museum come to life. After Ryan explained for the 20th time it was just pretend. They sat back in their seats and really enjoyed the movie. It was so good. We all loved it. We came home and I made pizza for dinner. What a Fun Friday we had as a Family. GOOD TIMES!!!!
